應一位友人的需求提供此級艦的一些照片供參考。 我手上德艦的資料不多，一戰前的更少，只有盡力而為了。
說回這級艦: 勃蘭登堡級與英國的君權級同期(1890年代)，後者被視為英國前無畏艦定型的里程碑，而勃蘭登堡則顯得默默無聞了。 其實她是有相當劃時代的特色的 - 她擁有3組二聯裝11吋炮，且全都是置於中心線上，比第一艘全巨炮戰鬥艦「無畏」早了足足15年! 但她終究不是「無畏」，她空有統一主炮，但那時候還沒有中央火控，校射仍然是靠目測! 以每五分鐘一發的射速來說，統一巨炮反而沒有中小口徑速射炮實用。何況勃蘭登堡級的中央炮塔還為了遷就艦長的不足而用了比前後主炮更短的35倍徑呢。
最後加一句: 「勃蘭登堡」與我國的「定遠」級同樣是由伏爾鏗船廠建做的呢。:happy:
