Pevell的1/72佛萊徹級基德號

WOW~~~~Revell廠又一龐然大物,是2戰時期1/72的佛萊徹級基德號(USS KIDD),舷號DD-661,模型完成後足1.6米長!!!:p

開盒報告竟然沒介紹套件內容? 再看真點,品牌是Pevell而不是Revell,呵呵~~~~原來只是愚人節的玩意....:D

不過1/72的佛萊徹級模型令人挺期待的,以往Lindberg廠推出的1/125佛萊徹都夠大條了(接近一米長),就是外形並不準確

I think it is worth the money. The moulding for the hull, deck are good. The moulded railing and ladders are a bit too thick in my view. Photo etched set is a must. Some rivets (not all of them) are moulded on the bridge and other structure, which is nice. Some hatches and water tight doors are moulded good, but some not. This could be touched up by photo etched parts.

As far as I know, Revell kits' prices would increase by 30% in the near future. So if you are interested, go for it !!

So if you like it and spot it somewhere, give it a go.

I would like to build it as the square bridge version. I think I can't start work until photo etched set and other accessories are available.
